Besenova is a small village situated in west part of Liptovska valley, 10 km to the east from Ruzomberok town on the left Vah´s bank. This tiny village with only 400 citizens is well-known for its thermal baths with medicinal springs. The highest temperature of a spring is unbeliavable 61 °C and blows out from the depth of 1987 meters. The spa offers 6 swimmingpools full of geothermal water where the temperature is between 36-40 °C. The water cure kinetic and respiratory organs, urologist diseases and it has a positive dermatological effects. A surrounding nature offers a plenty of modest walks, cycling tours and even demanding trips.
